OUR CLIENT
Our client is a leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Financial Services and Insurance. With over 700 people in APAC, this consultancy is fast-growing and vertically integrates its clients' entire Digital Value chain. They are currently looking for their APAC head of the Digital Team for the Insurance Vertical.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Associate Partner, you will have full PnL ownership with associated annual turnover targets. The mid-term goal is to expand the practice to a regional level and expand the geographic footprint. You will also be involved in projects at a conceptual level and strongly engage the client to generate new leads.
- You will also play a key role in developing this business line within our client, identifying opportunities, leading sales efforts, and managing and developing client relationships.

- Shape and develop scalable technology in proprietary SaaS
- Work with fintech and insurtech partners
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by developing and maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Further build-up APAC insurance practice around key focus areas such as digital transformation and operation excellence
- Conduct interviews and workshops to define future state visions and prioritisation of opportunity areas that deliver value across people, processes, data & technology while ensuring buy-in from clients’ senior management
- Produce solutions to complex problems demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to think independently and communicate concisely
- Mentor consultants and senior consultants to increase their industry-specific knowledge and practical experiences across (re)insurance transformation
- Conduct market and trend analyses to support the business in identifying strategic opportunities for growth
- Act as a thought leader and define business development and marketing activities in Singapore and the region
- Maintain and develop industry knowledge to keep a breadth of client needs and proactively recommend new and innovative solutions.
IDEAL TALENT
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level from a reputable university, while ideally holding an advanced degree (MA, MSc, or MBA)
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience within insurance industry at a management consulting firm, or management function within a financial firm with long term exposure to project delivery
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas of consulting within the Insurance Industry: digital transformation, operational excellence, product development, designing/implementing target operating model, agile transformation, data analytics.
- Evidence of sales efforts and project acquisition by leading activities or supporting senior management
- A detailed understanding of the opportunities and dependencies both business and technology play in a client’s organisation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams across projects or workstreams
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with the ability to identify complex problems, consider them analytically and conceptualise solutions
- Impeccable communication, presentation and facilitation skills, and experience communicating with clients at various levels across an organisation.
- Fluency in a South East Asian language, especially Mandarin and Cantonese, will be an added advantage when participating in regional project.
