Senior Human Resources Lead

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Lead to join our leadership team in Singapore. This is a pivotal role within a growing organisation, offering the opportunity to shape and lead the global HR strategy during an exciting phase of expansion. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will oversee HR operations across Asia and Europe, ensuring alignment with business priorities and driving impactful initiatives. This role offers significant potential for career growth into broader leadership responsibilities as the company scales.

Job Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment of 15–20 strategic senior roles in 2026 to support business expansion in Eastern Africa, ensuring high-impact hires.
  • Learning & Development: Design and implement a robust L&D framework to upskill employees, foster ownership, and prepare future leaders.
  • Post-Merger Integration & Due Diligence: Oversee HR due diligence and lead cultural and organisational integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • HR Strategy & Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to develop HR policies and practices that balance compliance with agility. Manage regional HR Heads in Asia and Europe to ensure global consistency with local relevance.
  • ESG & Culture: Champion ESG-aligned initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

Ideal Talent

We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with:

  • Proven HR leadership experience in international, growth-oriented organisations.
  • A strong track record in talent acquisition for strategic and senior roles.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering Learning & Development programmes.
  • Experience in post-merger integration and HR due diligence.
  • A hands-on, pragmatic, and action-oriented approach, comfortable in lean environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence at the board level and engage employees at all levels.
  • A strong ESG mindset, committed to responsible and sustainable business practices.
  • A direct, no-nonsense approach, valued for clarity, integrity, and results.

Day-to-Day

  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage regional HR teams in Asia and Europe to ensure seamless global operations.
  • Drive the recruitment process for senior-level positions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Develop and implement training programmes to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Oversee HR due diligence and integration processes for newly acquired businesses.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and sustainable growth through ESG-aligned initiatives.
