Job Opportunity: Finance Business Partner – CSD Europe

With a strong presence across Europe, they are seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner – CSD Europe to join their team and drive financial performance across multiple regions. Job Responsibilities
As the Finance Business Partner – CSD Europe, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy and operational efficiency of the CSD (Customer Supply & Delivery) function across multiple European regions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial results, budgets, and forecasts for manufacturing operations across Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, and other regions.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate performance against budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigating actions.
- Cost Management: Oversee raw material costs, labour, overheads, and supply chain expenses to optimise efficiency and profitability.
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights for strategic decisions, including market expansions, product line extensions, and capital investments.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial regulations, and standards, while managing internal and external audits.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 7-9 direct reports and 20 indirect reports, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Project Leadership: Drive standardisation, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives within the CSD finance processes.
Ideal Talent
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain management, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven track record in financial management within a multinational company, preferably in B2B or food industries.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain business partnering, controlling, and reporting.
- People management experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Skills:
- Analytical, hands-on, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Personal Attributes: Agile, team player, and results-driven with a strong drive to deliver.
Day-to-Day
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with regional and local teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.
- Partner with supply chain, pricing, and plant management teams to optimise costs and improve productivity.
- Lead financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Travel across regions (approximately 30%) to engage with stakeholders and oversee financial operations.
