MISSION
The mission of this Consultant/Senior Consultant role in Capital Markets is to provide strategic advisory and operational expertise to financial institutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, market integrity, and process optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
More specifically, in this role, you may work on:
- Advisory & Consulting: Support clients in clearing, exchanges, securities services, and regulatory compliance, addressing operational challenges.
- Market & Regulatory Expertise: Guide clients on key regulations like MIFID, EMIR, CSDR, SFTR, SFA (Singapore), and SFO (Hong Kong), ensuring adherence to evolving compliance frameworks.
- Transaction Reporting & Post-Trade Processes: Enhance T2R, clearing, and settlement practices to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Integrity & Surveillance: Help institutions strengthen market surveillance and compliance mechanisms to safeguard financial stability.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with exchanges, regulators, and banks to drive industry-wide best practices.
The role requires a deep understanding of capital markets operations, with an ability to navigate complex financial environments, analyze regulatory trends, and deliver high-impact solutions.
IDEAL TALENT
- Experience in consulting or direct employment with relevant financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets operations, post-trade processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to manage regulatory requirements and drive operational improvements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
