OUR CLIENT
We seek an innovative leader to shape the marketing, branding, and communication strategy for one of our clients in the education field. Reporting directly to the Admission and Marketing Director and managing a team of 6, you will take the lead on the marketing and communication strategy of the school.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Management & Strategy
Provide visionary leadership in crafting a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy, including defining long-term objectives and establishing an annual operational plan. Your goal will be to enhance the market positioning of our client’s organisation, even in the face of fierce competition.
Lead the Marketing and Communications team, fostering a collaborative and cohesive approach to external and internal marketing. We encourage an omnichannel mindset to maximise impact.
Collaborate with various departments to design streamlined marketing initiatives that support all aspects of our client’s operations.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends, particularly in digital channels and customer data utilisation. Your commitment to GDPR and PDPA compliance will be essential.
Innovate by developing fresh, out-of-the-box approaches to effectively convey our client’s messages.
Engage with key stakeholders, including the Managing Director, Director of Marketing and Admissions, and Finance Director, to create robust financial strategies. This involves estimating, forecasting, anticipating resource requirements, and analyzing results.
Play a pivotal role in crisis management, ensuring timely and effective communication across various media channels during planned and unforeseen situations.
Collaborate with senior leaders to contribute to the overall organisational strategy, infusing our brand ethos and elevating our client’s reputation as the preferred educational institution for families in Singapore.
Take ownership of the marketing and communication budget, ensuring optimal utilisation to achieve desired outcomes.
Communication:
Formulating a comprehensive communications strategy: Align internal and external communication channels and messaging with the brand voice.
Reviewing and monitoring internal communication processes: Collaborate closely with the Communications Manager to enhance ongoing internal communication strategies.
Producing high-quality content: Contribute to a substantial volume of communications that align with the school’s vision and values. This involves writing high-level marketing copy and refining messaging for tonal consistency.
Driving accuracy and appropriateness: Lead the Communications Team in defining transparent processes for accurate and relevant communication across various situations and target audiences.
Effective leadership and management: Demonstrate the school’s values, policies, and procedures while efficiently managing the Communications team.
Overseeing internal communication execution: Ensure the successful implementation of the internal communications strategy, led by the Communications Manager.
Collaborating with the community: Engage with various stakeholders to build support and understanding and gather feedback to shape communication strategies.
Supporting timely and impactful messaging: Work closely with the Management and Leadership Teams to communicate important messages via the school’s channels.
Maintaining brand consistency: Ensure clear communication of our client's corporate identity and processes to staff, reinforcing the brand through internal channels.
IDEAL TALENT
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years experience managing brands and developing creative, innovative marketing strategies across offline and online channels. Your expertise in formulating effective marketing outreach will be invaluable.
- Proven experience leading and managing marketing and communication teams, from conceptualisation to execution. Your ability to drive cohesive strategies will be crucial.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, including seamless integration of online and offline approaches. Your understanding of SEO principles will contribute to sustainable results.
- Familiarity with marketing technology and modern approaches aligned with market intelligence and audience consumption patterns.
- Data-driven mindset: You should be adept at incorporating ROI and metric-driven models, leveraging CRM systems, databases, and marketing automation tools.
- Proficiency in using various software, including Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, CMS, SEMRush/Ahref, Mailchimp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
