OUR CLIENT

 

Our client is one of the largest service companies in the world, with a strong presence in facility management and security. They are currently seeking a Commercial Director based in Bangkok for their business in Thailand. In this role, you will report directly to the Country President and manage a team of salespeople. You will also work closely with other departments within the organization, including HR, Operations, and ES&S. As Commercial Director, it will be your responsibility to maintain a strong relationship with the customers and implement strategic engagement programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Commercial Excellence Management

·         Make sure that the commercial tools are implemented and utilised

·         Lead, train, mentor, motivate and retain the commercial team. Provide smart KPI

·         Ensure that commercial procedures are followed

·         Oversee the operations of the commercial department, including the design of a commercial strategy adequate for achieving the organisation's goals and objectives

·         Oversee the commercial department's activities

·         Responsible for the maintenance of the Pipedrive

·         Responsible for the maintenance of an orderly commercial filing system

·         Maintain a system of controls over commercial activities

Understanding the Market

·         Ensure that suppliers' contracts align with company policy, ethics and values are respected, and contractual terms and conditions are acceptable per company policies, ref. Selection Policy

·         Branding and marketing activities

·         Study the competition in the market, be updated with local regulations and Securitas global knowledge

·         Drive strategic commercial initiatives, study the segments and identify the must-win segments and the clients to win

·         Utilise the NOSE methodology for every segment and client and ensure that valuable information related to the needs and outcomes that the client is looking for is thoroughly collected and accurately studied

·         Work on pricing and ensuring that it is compared with the market

 Customer Engagement

·         Ensure timely and correct invoicing

·         Ensure that the team and the Commercial Director will always have a clear strategy on how to pursue some prospects

·         Building trust with the customers by visiting them, understanding their business and always having a helpful approach.

·         Building case studies that can showcase the service solution

Sales Process

·         Ensure that the Pipedrive is constantly updated

·         Ensure that the Value Proposition suits the customers' needs and the outcomes they wish to see

·         Design tailor-made solutions

·         Prepare a suitable costing

·         Oversee negotiation and closing of the deal

Reporting

·         Involved in business plan preparation

·         Responsible for achieving sales targets

·         Pipedrive updated weekly

·         Commercial reports on the number of contracts, number of solutions (monthly)

IDEAL TALENT 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience, knowledge of the service industry is a plus
  • Degree in Finance or Business or similar degree
  • Comfortable with metrics and numbers
  • Hands-on and practical.
  • IT: Used to and eager to work with digital tools, excel, ERP, CRM
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to lead the commercial team in a multi-cultural environment.
