Our client is a leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Financial Services and Insurance. With over 300 people in APAC, this consultancy is fast-growing and vertically integrates its clients' entire Digital Value chain. Currently looking for a Senior Director Business Analyst.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is key in supporting the Business and Enterprise requirements for any RTB and/or CTB initiatives for Asset Manager.
More specifically, in this role, you may work on:
Requirements Gathering:
- Responsible for assisting to define and align the Asset Manager business architecture to the data and technology architecture
- Elicits requirements from stakeholders, applying effective elicitation methods/ standards/tools.
- Analyses and validates requirements using a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Conducts impact assessment to identify the "as-is" processes, systems, and the "future" processes, systems and structures.
- Performs data analysis to cleanse & standardize data and to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Performs gaps and resolutions analysis.
- Ensures requirements are complete.
- Documents requirement/processes using industry standard notations.
- Maintains relationships with stakeholders and obtains formal signoff of all requirement documentation.
- Liaises with service providers to ensure understanding of requirements and limitations of solutions.
Solution Assessment and Validation:
- Works closely with the IT and Business teams to ensure solutions are optimal.
- Supports functional and integration testing.
Implementation Support:
- Provides project support to the impacted teams during implementation phases, including answering queries, trouble shooting, liaison with service provider, providing regular reporting.
- Contributes to project management processes, including status reporting, risk, issue, change management.
IDEAL TALENT
- Degree in Business/Finance or related disciplines
- 10+ years Financial Services BA experience (Asset management desirable)
- Excellent customer focus and high level of accuracy, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the small team
- Experience in Data Analysis and change management
- Understanding of the asset management lifecycle, including trade flow and key front/middle/back-office concepts
- Familiar with data management frameworks
- Prior experience in Reference Data/Operational Data system implementation is desirable
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
