Business Analyst – Capital Markets

Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this long-term programme. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and designing functional specifications for regulatory reporting initiatives.
- Collaborating with front-to-back office teams, risk control units, and IT specialists to define operational workflows and system configurations.
- Ensuring accurate data capture and regulatory reporting alignment with trading and post-trade processing platforms.
- Facilitating end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT), defining test scenarios, and managing rollout processes.
- Maintaining continuous alignment with regional and global project teams to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
Ideal Talent
We are looking for a mission-driven professional who is eager to make a tangible impact in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: Approximately 5 years of Business Analysis experience within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or Capital Markets.
- Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of capital markets products and regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Work Authorisation: Open to candidates requiring Employment Pass (EP) sponsorship.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Expertise with trading or post-trade platforms such as Murex or Calypso.
- Prior experience within a financial services management consultancy.
- A background in bridging technical IT architecture and business strategy.
Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will include:
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into actionable requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet regulatory standards.
- Conducting workshops, preparing documentation, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals.
- Testing and validating system functionalities to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing any challenges to ensure timely delivery.
