As part of their Singapore-based AI Centre of Excellence, they are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, collaborate with global stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven organisation.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

  • AI/ML Model Development & Optimisation

    • Design, implement, and fine-tune machine learning and deep learning models.
    • Experiment with advanced algorithms and architectures to enhance performance and accuracy.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to identify and deliver impactful AI solutions.
    • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process automation and advanced AI use cases.

  • Integration & Deployment

    • Transition prototypes into scalable production environments in collaboration with data scientists and engineers.
    • Monitor and maintain AI solutions post-deployment, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Research & Innovation

    • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
    • Foster a culture of innovation through workshops, programmes, and employee engagement initiatives.

Ideal Talent

We are looking for an innovator with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of progressive experience in AI/ML engineering or a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
  • Expertise in Azure Data & Analytics tools (e.g., Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse) is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a structured approach to work, and a passion for driving innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across diverse, globally distributed teams.

Experience in the chocolate or food industry is a plus but not essential.

Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop AI-driven solutions.
  • Experiment with and optimise machine learning models to solve real-world problems.
  • Transition AI prototypes into production environments and monitor their performance.
  • Stay updated on the latest AI trends and technologies, applying them to drive continuous improvement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation.
