They are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist for a 12 months contract.
Job Responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of payroll processes while maintaining compliance with statutory and tax requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting payroll operations, including administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Reviewing and reconciling payroll output files to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Assisting with year-end payroll activities, including employee income tax filing reviews and other statutory filings.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, and Global Mobility to manage payroll processes and resolve employee queries.
- Preparing and supporting internal and external payroll audits.
- Managing tasks efficiently, prioritising daily responsibilities, and delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Coordinating with the global team on employee equity matters, including RSU and ESPP grants and vesting, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Supporting payroll or employee equity-related audit requests by preparing reconciliations, accurate data, simulations, and reports.
Ideal Talent
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll operations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- A professional approach to handling confidential information.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will involve:
- Ensuring payroll processes run smoothly and accurately.
- Collaborating with various internal teams to address payroll-related queries and escalations.
- Preparing reports and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Supporting global equity-related processes and documentation requirements.
