Our client is a globally recognised institutional digital asset liquidity provider, known for its leadership in crypto derivatives, options market-making, and structured solutions.
As part of its next phase of growth, the firm is making a targeted investment in Asia-Pacific, with Singapore established as a strategic hub for institutional engagement, product expansion, and long-term derivatives revenue development.
Role Mission
This appointment represents a senior, revenue-owning leadership hire tasked with scaling the institutional crypto options franchise across APAC.
Beyond distribution, the role centres on market development, client strategy, and ecosystem building — shaping how institutional investors in the region access, understand, and deploy crypto derivatives and structured solutions.
Success will be defined not only by near-term revenue generation, but by the ability to establish durable client relationships, deepen wallet share, and position the platform as a long-term strategic liquidity partner in Asia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a senior commercial lead and subject-matter authority for crypto derivatives and options across APAC.
- Build and execute a regional client strategy spanning hedge funds, family offices, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, and crypto-native institutions.
- Partner closely with trading, structuring, and global leadership to:
- Shape product relevance for regional clients.
- Deliver differentiated options and structured-solution capabilities.
- Drive sustainable, high-quality revenue growth rather than purely transactional flow.
- Contribute to the firm’s institutional positioning in Asia, including market education, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem engagement.
Ideal Talent
Core Experience
- Proven track record in a senior client-facing derivatives, options, or structured-solutions role, with meaningful revenue ownership and relationship depth.
- Deep expertise in crypto options and volatility products, or closely related TradFi derivatives, with the credibility to engage sophisticated institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of the APAC institutional landscape, including the ability to translate global capability into regional opportunity.
Strategic Profile
- Demonstrated ability to build franchises, not just sell products.
- Commercially driven, yet consultative and solutions-oriented in approach.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, evolving market structure bridging TradFi and digital assets.
Additional Strengths
- Familiarity with options pricing, volatility dynamics, and risk frameworks.
- Quantitative academic background or equivalent market experience.
- Singapore-based (or able to relocate) with strong regional connectivity and cultural fluency.
