OUR CLIENT
A fast-growing Asia-Pacific private banking platform, part of a well-established European banking group with deep capital markets and digital banking capabilities. The Singapore platform serves as the regional hub for institutional and professional clients across Asia, operating on an execution-only, non-advisory model.
The platform is designed for External Asset Managers (EAMs), Multi-Family Offices, Single Family Offices, and institutional counterparties that require open architecture, global market access, and institutional-grade execution and custody, without product push or advisory conflicts.
INSTITUTIONAL OVERVIEW
The firm is a regulated private bank, headquartered in Europe and publicly listed, combining traditional banking stability with a technology-led, API-enabled infrastructure. It offers multi-asset execution, custody, and digital banking services across equities, ETFs, derivatives, FX, structured products, and digital assets.
Asia-Pacific is a core growth pillar, with Singapore positioned as the regional booking and relationship management centre supporting cross-border client activity between Asia and global markets.
ROLE MISSION
The Relationship Manager / Institutional Sales professional will be responsible for originating and managing institutional relationships in Asia, positioning the platform as a long-term private banking and execution partner for EAMs and institutional clients.
The focus is on driving assets, trading volumes, and platform adoption, rather than advisory or discretionary portfolio management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Originate, develop, and manage EAM, MFO, family office, and institutional client relationships across Asia-Pacific.
- Drive new client acquisition, asset inflows, and trading-led revenue growth through execution and custody services.
- Position the platform as a private bank of choice for EAMs, offering open architecture and institutional-grade execution.
- Develop deep understanding of client needs across equities, ETFs, derivatives, FX, structured products, and digital assets.
- Lead end-to-end onboarding, including account structuring, custody setup, and system/API connectivity where relevant.
- Partner closely with internal trading, operations, compliance, and product teams to ensure a high-quality client experience.
- Support the continued build-out of the Singapore booking centre as the regional hub for institutional private banking.
- Act as a market ambassador within the EAM and institutional ecosystem, representing a regulated, execution-only private bank.
