Our Client

Our client is a leading multi-country Facility Management organisation with a strong presence across APAC and the Middle East. Known for their commitment to operational excellence and innovation, they are seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of IT to lead their regional technology strategy and drive digital transformation. Job Responsibilities

As the Head of IT – APAC & Middle East, you will:

1. Regional Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation

  • Define and execute a multi-year technology strategy aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive digital transformation across operations, workforce management, finance, HR, and customer-facing services.
  • Introduce and scale AI, automation, IoT, and data-driven solutions tailored to Facility Management.
  • Modernise enterprise platforms, including ERP, HRIS, CRM, and CAFM/CMMS systems.

2. IT Operating Model Redesign & Governance

  • Redesign the regional IT operating model to enhance scalability, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks for architecture standards, vendor management, data governance, and cybersecurity.
  • Implement ITIL-based service management and a regional shared services model.

3. Infrastructure, Platforms & Enterprise Systems

  • Oversee the regional cloud, network, infrastructure, and applications landscape.
  • Ensure systems are standardised, resilient, secure, and cost-optimised.
  • Strengthen interoperability and lifecycle management across platforms.

4. Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance

  • Lead the regional cybersecurity strategy and ensure compliance with regulations and global standards.
  • Implement data protection, governance, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Conduct regular cyber maturity and resilience reviews.

5. Financial & Portfolio Management

  • Manage IT investment budgets and optimise CAPEX/OPEX allocation.
  • Ensure financial transparency, ROI tracking, and disciplined prioritisation of IT initiatives.

6. Talent Leadership & Organisation Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse IT team across multiple countries.
  • Build a regional talent pipeline and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Drive upskilling programmes and strengthen country IT leadership.

Ideal Talent

We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial leader with:

  • 10+ years of senior IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a regional Head of IT or equivalent role.
  • Proven expertise in digital transformation, enterprise systems modernisation, and operating model redesign.
  • Deep technical knowledge in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and data management.
  • Experience in Facility Management, Hospitality, or Services sectors is strongly preferred.
  • A track record of success in decentralised, multi-country environments with lean resources.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across C-level and operational teams.
  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL, TOGAF, PMP) are advantageous.

Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with the Regional CEO and senior leadership to align IT strategy with business goals.
  • Lead a team of 40 IT professionals across Thailand, India, Indonesia, the Middle East, and Singapore.
  • Oversee the modernisation of critical enterprise systems and infrastructure.
  • Drive innovation through the adoption of AI, automation, IoT, and data-led solutions.
  • Ensure robust governance, cybersecurity, and compliance across the region.
  • Manage IT budgets, optimise resources, and track ROI on technology investments.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative IT culture across the region.
