Manager / Senior Manager – Financial Services Consulting (Derivatives Target Operating Model)

Job Responsibilities
As a Manager or Senior Manager specialising in Derivatives Target Operating Models (TOM), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial services operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and delivering consulting engagements focused on Derivatives Target Operating Models across front-to-back functions.
- Advising clients on operating model transformation initiatives, including OTC and listed derivatives, clearing, collateral, settlements, trade lifecycle, and post-trade operations.
- Supporting clients in navigating Singapore’s regulatory requirements and regional/global frameworks impacting derivatives markets.
- Driving strategic transformation programmes, including regulatory remediation, operating model redesign, process optimisation, control framework enhancement, and technology transformation.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across financial institutions, including COO, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Front Office teams.
- Developing business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the Singapore practice and the broader APAC region.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with banks, capital markets firms, and financial institutions.
- Mentoring and developing junior consultants while contributing to internal capability building.
Ideal Talent
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with the following qualifications and expertise:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6–12+ years of experience in Financial Services Consulting, Capital Markets Advisory, Investment Banking Operations, or Derivatives Operations/Transformation.
- Deep expertise in Derivatives Target Operating Models, including trade lifecycle management and post-trade processes.
- Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations and regional/global regulatory frameworks impacting derivatives markets.
- Proven experience managing large-scale transformation or regulatory programmes within financial institutions.
- Exceptional consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of contributing to business development and practice expansion.
- Experience working across APAC markets is highly desirable.
Day-to-Day
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Leading client engagements and delivering innovative solutions for derivatives operations and regulatory challenges.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement target operating models.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to provide strategic advice and drive transformation initiatives.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the practice.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
