Our client is a fast-growing Tech start-up headquartered in Hong Kong, with numerous offices globally. They are focused on enhancing performance through SaaS solutions and services by supporting clients from the telecommunication, automotive, hospitality and Consumer electronics industry.

ROLE MISSION 

The role is to ensure that all arrangements with customers are backed by signed contracts in accordance with the group’s Revenue Recognition Policy. Completion of arrangements are backed by signed acceptance from customers evidencing delivery. Ensure invoices are issued and money is collected on time. This position will work closely with commercial heads from different regions to ensure complete, accurate and timely revenue booking for each quarter. The position will report to the Finance Director.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Review all contracts and suggest changes, if warranted, to ensure they are compliant with Group’s Revenue Recognition Policy
  • Keep an inventory of all signed contracts
  • Keep track of Milestones in each contract and ensure Commercial team has obtained acceptance documentations executed by the customer
  • Work with Accounting to ensure all delivered contracts / milestones have been invoiced
  • Follow up on, collect and verify payments, ensure AR-Cash collection is updated each quarter
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Coordinate with Commercial team and responsible Commercial Director / Account Manager to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Generate aging analysis and review to ensure compliance
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
  • Provide documentary evidence for revenue recognition in each quarter
  • Publish management Reports as specified by the management to have visibility of key issues in revenue recognition/generation/customer issues

IDEAL TALENT 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in either Science, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (Must be quantitative)
  • Experience as a Manager for 2 years or 3 years as Senior Analyst in FP&A, Revenue Recognition/Contract Management. Software Industry experience Preferred
  • Solid understanding of IFRS15 and other principles as applicable to Revenue Recognition
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (Written and Oral) is a MUST, additional proficiency in Mandarin / Korean is an advantage
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work as business partner with commercial Group and solve issues
  • Integrity: Must have a high degree of integrity to uphold company’s policy and do right thing. Escalate issues as needed
  • Location: Position can be located in either Hong Kong or Singapore

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of programs and projects through a disciplined IT project management process in close collaboration with business partners, team members and various IT functions
  • Perform end to end program cycle (includes client’s scoping & consultancy, project initiation, delivery, and implementation) together with various teams
  • Possess end-to-end accountability for single or multiple concurrent projects and large programs consisting of multiple projects with different priorities & requirements
  • Support commercial activities in pre-sales solutioning & consultancy work
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Track & measure the performance to identify areas for the improvements; Identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Experienced in project tracking by JIRA & Confluence, and SDLC from requirements gathering, analysis, development, UAT, production release
  • Manage the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

 

IDEAL TALENT 

  • BS/BA diploma Management or related discipline (e.g., IT, computer science, business & project management…)
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience managing IT customer-facing projects
  • Require effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. the ability to command respect and to create a sense of community together with IT/Product teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs and knowledge of performance evaluation & change management
  • Excellent understanding of and ability to manage Project & Software Development Life Cycle(s) using both Agile & Waterfall methodologies
  • PMP certification (or proven project/program management experiences over years)
  • Clear, effective verbal and written English communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

You will be managing the proper treasury function control in place within the group with proper documentation according to the Group policies. The position reports to the Financial Controller of the Group.

  • Perform treasury function in cash management and planning
  • Review and support daily operational payment request
  • Handle intercompany treasury request and intercompany reconciliation
  • Prepare regular treasury and financial analytic reports for management’s discussion and decision making
  • Lead setting up bank accounts for overseas subsidiaries
  • Manage good business relationship with banks
  • Lead to develop and administer all treasury policies. Ensure all business processes & approval are following the internal control requirements
  • Lead Audit process on cash/AR/AP/Inventory, treasury side items

IDEAL TALENT

Our client is reinventing insurance claims automation and fraud detection with AI. Helping insurers fully automate more claims, deliver a great customer experience while protecting against risk, and accurately identify suspected claims fraud, making investigative teams far more effective, while also reducing fraud losses. 

ROLE MISSION 

As the Data Engineer, your role is to be the bridge between the Data Science team and the Software Development Team. You will work hand-in-hand with the Data Scientists and Software Developers to convert their vision into reality.

Your work mission will be focused on implementing and maintaining data connectors, external data integration and helping to build key showcases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Data Engineer for the pipelines of External Data, from the automation of their retrieval in external sources to their insertion into the company's data stores (SQL, ElasticSearch). 
  • Implement scraping and data retrieval pipelines such as web crawling websites with online vehicle ads to detect suspicious claims, crawl social media and public sites to spot discrepancies between claims and online activity, do entity resolution on lists of disbarred lawyers to detect fraud rings, etc. 
  • Design and Implement new connectors with external solutions to provide in-box integration of their systems with other systems such as GuideWire through APIs and data engineering ETLs. 
  • Design new data pipelines and integrate new technologies to automate business tasks or deliver new functionalities.
  • Optimize the robustness and performance of production pipelines as well as supervise the deployment of complex features to support client-facing Data Scientists. Learn about robustness patterns, code optimization techniques and large-scale deployment organization.

IDEAL TALENT 

  • Good programming skills, such as a degree in computer science and/or some coding work experience and you feel comfortable spending time writing and understanding code.
  • Ability to produce optimized and stable code which will smoothly run in a production context; you’re familiar with algorithm complexity assessment; you can write unit tests and integration tests; you think about potential problems and edge case.
  • Knowledge and experience using object-oriented concepts; you can design class diagrams and use common object-oriented design patterns naturally. C# knowledge is a plus.
  • Good practical spirit, eager to understand how new systems work, and able to troubleshoot and improve them; when hitting an unexpected problem, you are ready to dig in to solve the problem yourself.
  • Teamwork capabilities; you are comfortable working with others and you have good communication skills.
